In every class except the workshops, we will have a short quiz or written activity where you’ll be asked some questions about key points in the readings assigned for that day.
These activities have two purposes: they let me know whether you are doing the reading (and reward you for doing it carefully). And they let me know whether you are understanding things, so that I can make sure the class is meeting your needs.
